Having spent many many years as a Retail Buyer for some of the country’s biggest retailers, Shona decided to set up business for herself.

The business opened in September 2015 in Shona’s local community of Birstall, Leicestershire. Filigree Heart is a real community business and actively encourages the local area to work together to encourage the Shop Independent message.

Filigree Heart has always had an online presence but with this side of the business becoming more and more important the website was update in Autumn 2021. This brought it right up to date with the latest payment options, better design and faster browsing and purchasing with the same great customer service.
